Being Cleared
Winds howl
 Fires burn
 Birds fly
 People die

 When love so strong
 Is torn apart
 Those who were apart
 Are cut so deep

 But when love is found
 Their cheers resound
 Of love and passion
 Not of hate and anguish

 His arms
 Her waist
 It pains
 And slices

 His hands
 Against mine
 So warm and protecting
 Finally safe

 Feeling wanted, love and needed
 I’m overwhelmed
 His voice
 Calms me so

 His words
 Both hurtful and helpful
 They echo in the ears
As the music tries to cut through

 Thoughts of him overwhelm me
 I can’t think
 Only cry
 With thoughts of him

 I need him so
 His love and comfort
 My tears
 Being cleared
