take a step, take a chance

Take a step with courage as would a soldier in battle,
But place your steps as precisely as would a mountain hiker.
Live vibrant as the robin, who arrives joyously full of song in spring,
Live bold as the lion, who tosses his mane with confidence of himself.
Take chances as would a tightrope walker, high up and no net,
But weigh your chances as would an acrobat, performing new tricks at new heights.
Take a step, take a chance,
Live this life like you mean it,
It isn’t a game or dance,
But have fun, live out loud, and win!
