So much depends
Upon
Blue rivulets of
Life
Streams coursing through
Flesh
Beneath the thick
Layers
A warm hug underneath
Heat waves stretching
Across silhouettes
Fueling minds
Fueling hearts
Channels that beat
That speed
That drain life
Of lifelessness
Until a soul’s shell breaks
It seeps in crimson
Thicker than rivers
Staining a soul’s shell
Scarring it
Labeling it as human

I had to right this for school. There are other two poems very similar to this one, but about different topics.
