He's Everywhere
I hear him in the east, in the mountains,
I hear him past the ports, past the sea.
I hear him in the city, and the west side,
He is everywhere, I can see.

I see him in the morning, by the blue sky,
 walking across the wavering green.
And flowers fluttering, twirling to his smiling,
I feel my heart give out for him.

Beautiful red hair in the warm sun,
and blue eyes shimmering in the light.
Long arms, small nose, small chin,
I break my heart at the sight.

I feel him in the raining, washed-up world,
and muddy are our feet in the cold.
But his hand is clasped in my hand.
There's nothing to be afraid of.

I hear him in the west, in the desert,
I hear him past the playground and the swings.
I hear him at the south side, and the open,
But I feel I can never have him.
