Constant pushing and pulling,
Climbing, falling, tripping,
We’re all in a war
Against one another.
I stay half-way up there,
Where its easy to keep holding on,
As long as I’m careful,
Not to jostle the ranks above.
The others over me,
They kick, spit, trample,
Right on me,
Regardless of me.
Regardless of all others,
Except those above them.
