I wonder who will cage me
I hear the winds gently blowing
I see the persecuted souls of like-kinded people
I want to find happiness

I pretend that I am always happy
I feel the touch of my loved one
I touch the chains of life
I worry of misplacing my trust
I cry when I think of my pain
I am a roamer and a slave to stereotypes

I understand I am not perfect
I say that I keep my word
I dream of a freedom that brings happiness
I try to make others happy
I hope I do enough for others
