look at pictures
pictures of yourself
reflect
memories
you reminisce
your eyes tell a story
a window to your soul
you know that face
that child
knows everthing you felt
every thought
every problem you've been delt
that child
understands your dreams
your ideas on life and love
you don't have to say a word
but
that child
knows what it all means
Your mind is theirs
you are the same
you are the present
the future
that child
the past
no longer one
look at pictures
pictures of yourself
reflect
on your former self
memories
you reminisce
your eyes tell a story
a window to your soul
you know that face
that child
a walking mirror
a stranger
