Why is our society so complicated today?

People have lived in the simplest ways for years.

What makes now any different?

We are all so concerned about the way we look, and what others think of us.

It makes me wonder...

Why weren't people so concerned about this years ago?

Society has changed, we've all changed.

You could say we're making progress.

But, I think we've lost a lot.

I was thinking to myself one day, why does everyone worry so much about what other people think? Some people can't be happy without doing their hair or makeup... we used to be so simple. What happened to that?
