Haunted memories,
Whispered voices,
Helpless pleas
To those that sleep forevermore.
Death and destruction rein.
Looking to those about
The living dead stare back.
Bullets scream,
Bombs thunder throughout.
Yet in silence I stand,
Obliterated by
Voices whispered,
Memories haunted.
