A whole new world,
Life has vanished.
Machines are everywhere.
Reality is gone.

Floating away now,
The hallway is under me.
Anxiety in my senses,
Reality has disappeared.

I glimpse to the right,
My sight seems dreary.
Why must it be so?
Reality is staggering.

Through the portal,
The answer is near.
Finding the answer,
Reality is here.

The topic of my poem was the reality and feeling of a hospital. A hospital always feels like a completely different world. I chose this topic, because I want to become a doctor. Plus, I have always been fascinated by hospitals. The purpose of my poem was to show how a hospital's enviroment is so different from the regular world. I chose to write this poem, because I wanted to show people how a hospital feels like a different world altogether.
