Breaking
Your words
 Like tiny little ants
 Crawling scurrying never resting
 Echo in my ear
 I can not forget
 As you refuse to forgive
 My hope dwindles
You don’t see through the charade

 Letting it go
 Is impossible
 And I can not decide
 My next move
I am weary of any remaining strategy
Theory vanished thin into the air
 Your heart has escaped
And I have lost my grip

What I saw beneath the flesh
 That whispered hidden truths
Sad how we had but the slightest clue
That it would all so swiftly and unpredictably
 Conclude in such a predicament
 In just a flash
 One single strike
 Was all it took

 So I ask myself
 What is worse:
 To lose you
Or to never have you at all?
