Glorious Day-bearer and Light-giver,
Ray of the world, Sun-spirit beautiful:

Bring forth your radiant force,
Mighty star-shaker,
And shine your light on Inyan’s sons
And Inyan’s blood scattered.

O Anpao,
Dawn-breaker, Sister of the Rain,
World-shaper, Mother of the Bird:

Bring the flight of Cetan ever-glorious,
Beacon of the East,
Eye of the Earth,
And let him be above the Land.

O Anpao,
Rising Sun on the Horizon,
Bright upon the Distant Waters:

Wake Skan, child of the Great One,
Motion of the Spirit in Nature’s womb,
And set him onwards to Life
In the stealth of the Body.

O Anpao,
Dweller of Skies and Traveler of Winds,
Messenger of the Superior:

Shine upon thy earthen brethren,
Thy brothers and sisters,
And wake our People
From their lasting sleep.
