panic strikes me
sweat trickles down my back
I hear the 'thud,thud'
of my footsteps
the 'thud,thud'
of the 'attacker'
the darkness to overwhelming to bear
soon i am pinned down
the 'attacker' looming over me
I hear a distant scream
realize it as my own
horror pulsates throughout my veins
too startled to move
paralyzed at every part of my body
I was;am;will be
SCARED!SCARED!SCARED!
what am I trying to run away from?
what am I scared of?
you may be wondering
well that's easy to answer:
FEAR
