Silent Tears

My hot tears pour
Down my cheeks
Rolling onto my neck
My silent tears,
They keep coming, late
Into the night.
That's when they come,
Alone in the darkness
Where no one can see them
No one can hear them
Because if those silent tears, if they
Weren't so silent anymore?
Someone will ask,
"What's wrong?"
And I won't be able to
Say the answer.
I have a secret to keep, one that's
Tearing me apart, leaving
Me weeping
My silent tears
