i always see my friends making jokes and laughing
But last week on friday morning,
they ask “why you so sad bro.”
Then i tell them its something that happen
its too hard,to painful to talk
its my best friend,my homie carlos
who passed away,
he didnt die because he got shot
and for some reason i think its my fault
im so sad because my childhood friend aint here no more

This piece was inspired by a loss a couple weeks ago when i got a call from my cousin who lives in my homeland venezuela that my best friend got shot to death. I hope people would value there friends more because you don't know when their gonna be gone.
