I wither away
breathless and red
because you caught
me off guard
with your
baby
blue
eyed
look
I wither away
I'm fading away
as I wait for
the sun to shine
bright again
I wither away
sick as a poor babe
on the scale
numbers count
down
one-by-one
I wither away
puddings and your love
will not fatten me
try as you might
to include me
I wither away
can you find me
in a sea of blankets
as I grow old
and weary
I wither away
into myself
don't try to
find me
I'll be gone
before you do
cause
I've withered away
