Rain.
Rain pattering on these empty roof tops
Reminding me of the life I used to know
Splashing over and over in the same place
Bouncing right off the place they’re trying to land
They just fall over and over
They just splash again and again
Not even looking for an opportune moment
Just making songs with there explosions
Rain softly singing me to sleep
Reminding me of my dreams to come
Waking up its all I see
Rain a world accustomed to me
Rain the quenching of thirst to the world and me
A soft whisper of the grass’ need
The flowers soak in the diamond droplets
 Listening to its beautiful song
I hear Gods voice calling out to me
 Hear it so sweetly
 Intertwined with the pattering rain
 Looking to God again
I see the rain drops whistling
After the rain comes a breath of peace
The smell of the storm o so sweet
Healing the nations, and my heart
I see Gods hand o so presently
