Happily Never After
She sits alone in her room and stares
Just waiting for somebody to care
But no messages fill her screen, no one calls her phone
Life passes her by as she sits there all alone
She’s at her lowest point, but she refuses to break
So she continues to live the life that she so desperately fakes
She remembers life before he was gone
And how happy she was before it all went wrong
His smiling face, her glistening eyes
Those secret phone calls late at night
She thought that things could never be better
She thought that they would last forever
But in the blink of an eye, it all came to a crash
And she watched in tears as her whole world collapsed
She begged and pleaded for him to return
But he walked away, letting her hopes all burn
Now she’s stuck in the past, remembering all those days of laughter
What ever happened to happily ever after?

He's the one I call in the middle of the night. He's the one who makes everything alright. He loves me with no regret...I just haven't found him yet.
