Ugly.
I don’t get it.
 What do they see in me?
 Why do they call me pretty,
 attractive, or even beautiful.
 I am none of those names!
 Sometimes I want to scream 
 In their face and say,
 “STOP LIEING to me!
 Stop GETTING MY HOPES UP!
 I’m not pretty!
 I’m not beautiful!
 I’m ugly…”
 Ugly.
 The word seems to hang in the air
 A bit 
 When you say it.
 Ugly.
 that’s what I am.
 Ugly…
