Chains
I had so much fun playing god
That when the music died down
I had to sell my soul
 Just to keep you around.
Because you filled me up so full
In a way I had never felt
That I had to give you everything
 In spite of myself.
 So I exhaled my love
 And I breathed your hate,
And we challenged the hypocritical institution of fate
To fly as high as me,
 Come down to see
The world would be so much better
If we could just let it be.
