The Note
Lying on the floor
 With blood matted hair
Trying to keep her eyes closed
 But she can’t
 The horror before her
 Is to much to bear
 She tries to run away
But her legs have never been heavier
 All she has left
 Is a single note
A scribbled piece of scratch paper
 She never dared to open
 To angry and ignorant
 He broke her heart
 Why would she care?
 He’s dead now
 There is no turning back
 He left her.
 She doesn’t care
 Why would she?
Although she can’t hold back her tears
 Why does she cry?
 He broke he heart
 Then tried to flirt
 He slipped her a note
 She ignored it.
 She reached into her pocket
 Unfolded the bloody note
As she read it she broke down crying
She grabbed the knife she found by him
And she was never heard of again
 All the note said was
 “I love you.”
