Behind a Lens
Behind a Lens
Is how I view the world

 What the lens can see
 I can see
 And no more

 Without a pair
 Constantly sitting on my face
I am near blind to the world

 Sometimes a pair of lenses
 Can be put down
So I head for a third

 In order to capture
 What the pair can see
 For eternity to see

 It’s magical in a sense
That what two little lenses can see
 Can be seen forever

 Memories ranging from the ocean
To the ceiling of a room
 Can be seen forever

Just because my pair of lenses
 Saw it first
