Everyday is a journey,
With new decisions I must make.
I fear not because God is with me.
Many people stand by my side,
Helping me through every single day of life.
Especially God.
Also, you are with me.
Through you, God guides me.
He will teach me new things through you.
He gave me the Breath of Life,
So I may breathe and live.
He gave me life and uses you,
He uses you to sow my seeds of faith.
You are my mentor,
I will learn from you.
One day, I will pass down my knowledge
To help someone as you have.
Life is the journey,
Confirmation helps prepare me for it.
Through you, God molds me
For he is the potter and I am the clay,
He is the vine and I am the branch.
Through you, he helps me become
Many things at once:
A good Christian,
A better disciple,
A better person,
And a better teacher.
God made you special, as he did with us all.
He gave me life,
He gave me you,
He gave me all that I have.
He is always preparing me
For life,
For the journey.
