Straightforward Resistance

Never look away, and don’t give into their hypocritical words
Constantly critical, sought out only to amuse themselves
Due to lack of interest in their own personal affairs
Where they place their crescendos is what’s on their mind
So unendingly, intentionally surfacing
Dramatic scenes of misplacement and heartbreak
But, pardon me while I cross all your once tiptoed lines.
