"You don't have to suffer to be a poet, addolescence is suffering enough for anyone"-TBA

I'm scared out of my mind.
I can't lose him.
I won't be left behind.
Hanging on a limb.

My thoughts stay frantic.
But I won't give up.
This love is hectic.
But I can't give up.

I won't give in.
I won't lose sight.
I refuse to go out.
Without a fight.

I may die where I stand.
And be pushed to the ground.
I may cry till the end.
A silent sound.

But I can't give up.

I won't give in.
I won't lose sight.
I refuse to go out.
Without a fight.

I'm filled with fright.
Yet I stand tall.
I see a light.
But it's distant, and small.

Still I refuse.
To go out.
Without a fight.

I'm in a relationship, and don't get me wrong it's going great, but there still is that chance I could lose him. I don't know if I could take that. This poem explains only an ounce of what I feel. -Christina
