Feeling Your Skeleton Through Your Skin

As you muscles contract and don’t let go;
Knuckles wildly biting into cushioned skin.
Cheek, stomach, chest
Blows in, blows out
Chest heaving, breath leaving
Tempered blood in my veins,
Some of it pouring out.
Eyes teared with cold sweat
Fist put into overdrive,
Feeling your skeleton through your skin,
Nobody wins.
