I Never Realize How Tired I Am

I never realize how tired I am
Until I curl up
Under the covers
Then I feel like I was weighted down all day
Until then
And my eyelids are shutters
And they want to close,
But my mind keeps racing,
Thinking of things
To do tomorrow
Of story ideas
Of random ideas
Of rhymes
Of things I can't forget
That will be forgotten
Because in my mind I'm dancing about
But in reality
It's almost midnight
And I'm really
Really
Really
Really
Really
Really
Tired
I
Need
To
Sleep.
