Faith in Omniscience
So near to me in slumber lies
A bond developed with simple intimacy,
Opening scenes in distant feelings of home.
 You understand.
 Conversations with a wiser bias
 In colorless frames
 Are worn like paper notes,
 Promises traded around,
 Frayed like consistency.
 Protected by damp sheets,
My skin touches on matching wrinkles,
 Clear, fading, returning.
 Comfort knows jealousy, palms together.

 We are one,
(Two with closed eyes, blurred reasoning).
 Intriguing familiarity rests with me.
A gentler grudge in a dark room,
 Grainy film softened,
 Frequents my midnight bones.
 Bygones hover in the background
 In reliability of dreams.
