these innocent-blue eyes watch
in death cloaked fear,
as beauty turns to ash.

these innocent-blue eyes hope,
that when it ends
we continue living.

these innocent-blue eyes witness
in dreaded suspense
as lives are torn apart.

Wow. Deep. I really liked this poem, and I really can't think of any changes to make. I especially liked the first stanza, the "beauty turned to ash" part.
