Rebel While You Can.
You can stand above
 Those chimney tops
 Scream until your
 Voice is lost
 Paint your face
 In a different color
 While wearing an
 Orange jump suit for cover.
 But still
 Nothing will have changed.
 Still, I will call you
 By your name.
 You can wear
 A studded silver mask
 Lie about your
 Dusty past
 Kick your shoes
 Into the mud
 Slam your head down
 With a thud.
 But still
 Nothing will have changed.
 Isn't that
 Strange?
 You can hide beneath
 Daydream clouds
 Whisper until
 The sun comes out
 Throw away
 All of your green socks
 Replace them with
 A tissue box.
 But still
 Nothing will have changed.
 There's only so many ways
 That a person can rearrange.
