Equaled
I sparkle and skip down the singular path that has been etched by
those, my ancestors, who came before me
My greatest wish, my only desire
Is to deliver a sweet relief,
To those who come from near,
For those who come from afar,
They all take what I willingly offer
Some stop to take a drink of me,
others dip their feet into me for a cool reprieve
Whether their eyes dance with sprightly youth ,
Or their face is weathered from the passage of years
They are all equaled in their thirst,
their need of what I willingly offer
