Corner
Look at that girl over there
Sitting in the corner
To bad no one said anything,
Nobody warned her.
She says she’s okay
That she wasn’t crying,
She picks up her head
You can see that she is lying.
‘Cause you can see her mascara stained face
And you can see the scars,
On the wrist that they lace.
Nobody asks questions
They just pass her by.
She doesn’t understand
and asks herself why.
Everything she knows always comes crashing down
She’s not quit sure
What to do now.
This girl in the corner knows not to give up.
But what’s she supposed to do
When her life is so screwed up.
She’s begging for one thing
For one last chance.
She doesn’t know how
to get what she desires
‘cause truth of the matter is,
trying so hard makes her tired.
She says she’s okay
That she wasn’t crying
She picks up her head
You can see that she is dying.
