My Everything
I am curled up in a chair
The city horizon,
always awake,
always beautiful and glittering,
always waiting for me
It is my home
My everything, all I need
I am curled up in this chair,
enjoying the comfort of my warm coffee,
with the busy atmosphere of this bustling city
It is my inspiration,
my happiness,
the cure of my loneliness
It has a life, lived with or without me
It is my everything, all I need
I am sitting here,
accompanied by the crisp morning air
The sun is emerging from behind tall buildings
This apartment, this chair, this coffee,
they all cost something
But just to be, and to see and to feel,
to be in this beautiful infamous city
It's enough
It's my everything
It's all I need
