she lived a great life
she lived it all full
put up a great fight

the cancer would have spread
the surgery, not 100 percent sure
of the part within her head.

how would they tell her daughter
her mommy wouldn't live
where would she go, no father
for this tiny little kid

if you had to chose
the life you didn't want true

the tears would fall
nearly everyday
to who yould you call
if your heart lost it's way

could she trust a friend
learn to love again
by the time she was ten
or would she just pretend

forget that it ever happened
mask what was underneath
would we ever see her laughin'
or forever inside her feelings she would keep
