There is a moment when
You look around
And see the land
Bare
You can see so far
But it doesn’t make you
Feel
More powerful
Or bigger
But smaller
Smaller
As you realize
How little
You really can see
Our sight is
Blinded
By the world
And it is
A strange
And beautiful
Sensation
To see the world
Naked
To see
The uniqueness
Of every tree
And flower
To feel
How small you are
To others
You must
Look at your world
Look at
Its beauty
See every color
And discover
The way
You looked
At the world
Before
You
Looked at the world
With veiled eyes
