A giant ball of fire shining in the sky
Slowly lowering as the day ends

The sky looks like an art project from 3rd grade
Different colors placed at random yet looking great

The sun slowly disappears under the horizon
My art project disappears too

What’s left is a shiny sliver of silver light
And sparkling stars everywhere

The sky has changed in a matter of minutes
You’re thoughts have changed too

You look out and take a deep breath
Isn’t it beautiful?
