I’m a book without a cover,
Nobody can judge me,
Not an angel to hover,
To tell me I’m not free,

I’m a candy without a wrapper,
No one can tell me who I am,
I don’t have to stammer,
Can’t ever be in a jam,

I’m not a person without a picture,
I am me
A unique kind of sliver,
In this world to be
