It'll Pass

A broken heart takes time to med;
It takes time, patience,
And some rockin' friends.
Seconds and days drag on,
Almost like months and years.
It seems like nothing can stop the tears.
Pretending it's okay
When you pass him in the hall,
But the second he looks away,
The facade falls.
It's not always easy,
It's not always fun.
But after time passes,
You find he wasn't really the one.
What you thought was love,
Turned out to be silly
Teenage infatuation.
Nothing worth looking into anymore.
And nothing that won't pass.
