On their way to work
They found him naked
 walking down the highway
with his finger prints burned off
 and coated black with ink
 mouth sown shut
 wallet melted into a puddle
 with the cash half burned
 and stuck to the ground
like a coin glued to the ground for the kids
 A one man march
 to a shallow grave
and the people drove over him
 on there way to work
 the birds ate the flesh
 as if to say
 they were waiting
 and the birds
they mourned him when he was gone
 when they were fed
 when they were done
