"Christ is not valued at all unless He is valued above all." -Saint Augustine

Get down low
Stick on the ground
Here the referees whistle
Feel the intensity
Opposing team hits the ball
Hurry to get it, gotta get it
Make it to the ball
Miss it, turn around
Fight for it, don’t give up
Have strength and perseverance
Got the ball, dribble down the field
Breakaway, keep running
Here the fans scream your name
Go! Go! Go!
In the circle, SHOOT!
Drive the ball
Watch it as it glides across the grass
Hear the bang of the ball go in
You’ve made a goal, now do it over again

The author's comments:
Well, I wrote this piece of poetry because I wanted to describe what it was like in a field hockey game. How intense it feels and all the pressure when you get to the ball.
