You, my unknowing love
Oblivious in such high regard
You break me from my branches
And you take all of me, silently
You, my forgotten dream
Taken only from the crowded corner room
You unwrap the layers with caution
And you don’t stop to wonder why
You, my effortless wanderer
Gazing eyes fixed far ahead
You are a mystery to my senses
And you are as routine as the sunrise
You, my haunted reverie
Loved by all and none together
You show me the missing pieces
While secretly keeping the last within.
