The Leviathan rises to the surface
-The sun dips below the mountains
Heart Pounding, patience dwindling, anticipation of the feed
-Standing strong and somber
Bubbles hit the surface
Bubbles drop
-Tears fall
-Tears drop
Head crashes through waves, sending sprits into the crisp mist
-Mirror shards shatter and fly
Gliding skillfully through surf. Head bobs. Eyes alert.
-Ducking plummeting objects. Up.Down. Side.
Circling, curling tighter and tighter
-Arms fly uncontrollably
Prey thrashes in a final attempt at salvation
-Pulling at hair. Tearing at scalp
Sinks pearly blades into the flesh
-Scratches sting in resounding shamefulness
Satisfied retreats into the depths of misery
-Crawling into bed, wincing at the shine through the curtains
The heralding of the sun
