Making My Stand

my writings reflect
my sorrow which lies inside
which is hidden,
by the facade I put on
to make everyone believe
that I am ohkay.
they show the love I have
for everyone that
has impacted me in someway
and show the hatred
I have deep inside
for the one person
who I should love the most;
myself.
they show my willingness
to please
and to make everyone else happy.
for once I want them to portray
who me really is.
the passion I feel
and the things I believe.
I today am making my stand
to believe in me
and only me.
