I never knew
In order to fully love I had to lose—
Lose myself.
Lose others.
But flip the coin,
And find who I am.
find those who I need.
Who’d care enough to chose me
I never knew it could be
So beautiful to lose
But gain more to love.

This is so true, so relatable, so sweet. I love this. I love how it's so simple yet so descriptive. Excellent.
what inspired me to write this is growing up we lose a lot of things but gain so much from the lost. But it’s important to see the positive from the loss.
