The little bird soars through the sky

Rain drops of yellow and pink

Litter the sky

As the wind blows east

And the mountains stand high

Where the trees stand so up right

Bare to the bone they seem to be

No life on an empty tree

Leaves scattered all around

Only crunches are heard

In the silent night

As fall sweeps in a fashion show

The chilly air sweeps in with a nasty blow

The wind keeps everything moving

To a place where the warm weather

Shines at most

The butterfly migrating east

Where just like it said

The warm air flows

The sun sets with a tasty glow

The moon starts to peak

From the shadows below

The stars grab their spots in the night sky

Where soon guides will shine

The little bird soars through the sky

The sun shining a way

Where the nest lays empty

And the straw lays flat

Where soon the little bird will lay to rest

As their head hits the nest

Chirps seem to dim

days seems to come to the end

And the bird seems to lay for rest
