Who am I ?
Who am I ?
Am I a person person I know, or someone I can't identify.
I'm shy, can't look eye to eye,
You might find me lacking, But am I?
I remember a girl, who was determined to find
A way to a place where she could be proud and kind.
The girl who scored less and didn't feel crappie
Who was never "the best" but still felt happy.
She counted the stars without caring about the future
She thought she knew everything and didn't need a tutor.
How can I tell her that time to time.....
She makes me question who am I?
I have a secret I need to confide, that now, I'm NEVER satisfied
I am still confident in my skin, but now I have a desire to win
There will be rivals and there will be friends
But every story will have to end
As I have ambitions that I can't defy
Flaws that I can't deny
Atleast for the next decade
Don't ask me "Who am I"

I wrote this poem for my audition to a literary club and felt that I laid my heart bare for a mere selection. So here am I sharing this with you all because I think it will be much appreciated here.
I think there might be people out there who feel the same.
