Cold and snowy

Stars lean down to grace the night sky

Glistening against the moonlight

The snowflakes show the cold

You play fight and throw snowballs

Getting a glimpse of white

As if they weren't really cold at all

Enjoyment and peace is brought

Wrapped up in soft blankets and jackets

Therefore it’s Christmas after all

The scheme of red and green

Give us hope to be welcomed by Mr. Clause

Naughty or nice

Gift wrapping and gift giving is welcomed all around

With a bright light there’s magic in the airy night

Frost-kissed breath beneath the dark blue sky

Winter drifts in on a silver sight

“Time for bed kids” our parents tell us

To eager to see the presents

But too naive to listen

Therefore it’s Christmas after all

Here comes Christmas morning

The lights bright and shiny

Getting up at 6am just to see the kids smiling

The kids gathered at the tree

Smiling and shaking presents

Bright and early in the morning

That’s the light we like to see
