On the Love of Life
No matter whom I may meet,
No matter what I may encounter,
I will always remain myself.
I will go on living,
And I believe I shall live,
Because I trust in myself,
Always have, always will.
This insight into life, this passion for living—
This is the Will to Power, this is the human spirit!
And this is why I still exist in this world…
To live!
Simply to live!
To live for my own meaning and choices!
My Will to Power has found its purest expression.
I am the Will to Power—I am the human spirit!
Even if my days seem barren and without achievement,
Even if my life is worn with trials and suffering…
I have still erupted with boundless force.
I am no docile lamb,
But a lion that will not yield!
How pitiful fate toys with our existence…
Making us struggle bitterly, forcing us to survive in despair.
Behold!
I shall judge this sinful world,
I shall declare the death of God!
Behold!
The Will to Power is eternal—
The force that life unleashes!
Behold!
Here lies all that is most glorious in this world:
My very life, our very selves!
Life itself is the Will to Power, the human spirit—
A primal fervor, a surge of impulse,
Even a momentary explosion that blossoms into brilliance…
And that is enough.
