HIRAETH
They say there is nothing like,
Bonds amorously between
Human and Human-
Like a person is Home.
With which I agree, but,
Something about dogs,
Is what I cherish the most.
It's like being in the lucent sun.
Until it runs cold,
Navy bleeds in the sky.
It's a shame that
They are tragically mortal.
Things don’t last forever.
Especially the things that,
Engrave within your bones.
For I lost her today but she will stay.

I write because I have something to say, even when I don’t say it out loud.
Poetry, painting, stories—they’re not hobbies to me. They’re how I understand the world.

But I still stop to feel everything along the way.
Because feeling deeply isn’t a weakness—it’s where my strength lives.
