Ephemeral Love

When hearts are penetrated

Some fates intertwine

All in vain for exchange

And a sip of cherry wine

Nothing but interludes in books of pages

Wrecked blasphemy to a sign of testaments

Notes on musicals of compositions

Written blueprints for love in youth

When the fires of kismet were to go havoc

So does the purity of love diminish

Standards of bonds regress

Eventually drown in spoken emptiness

Yet, amid the ruins of passion's demise

Echoes linger, whispers of sweet goodbyes

The cadence of love, a melancholy song

Fading verses where once they belonged

In the tapestry of time, threads unravel

A narrative of hearts, an endless travail

Brought upon within the fragments of what once was

Resides the essence of love's eternal clause
